Under a new South Carolina policy, schools must limit students’ access to cell phones and other personal devices during the school day. The Richland Two Board of Trustees revised Policy JICJ – Possession/Use of Electronic Communication Devices at School, to reflect the new law. All high schools in Richland Two. Prohibited Devices include but are not limited to gaming sevices, cell phones, tablets, smartwatches, and earbuds/headphones. Students will only be allowed to use school-issued Chromebooks during the school day. To view the consequences for violating the Policy JICI, please click the image.
