The Silver Cadets closed out their competition season in Darlington at the Keith DaBreau Battle of the Bands which hosted 20 marching bands from South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia. Through hard work, preservation, and consistency, the students of the Silver Cadet Band received 1st place in Class 1A with a Superior rating as well as the highest overall score to claim the award of Grand Champions! Please assist us in congratulating these amazing students as theyโve won their 5th Grand Champion award.




For the first time in two years, Richland Two will host an in-person Choice Fair featuring Magnet Programs to provide families with information about all schools and centers in the district. The Choice Fair, a two-day event, is Wednesday,ย November 1ย for elementary schools and Thursday, November 2 for middle and high schools from 5:30 – 7 p.m. each day. Richland Northeast also has 3 Magnet Programs — Convergence Media (Mr. Rawson), Horizon (Mrs. Rabin), and Palmetto Center for the Arts (Mrs. Cureton-Cummings). All 3 are award-winning programs.
