Fueling Hope: Where We Stand in the HOPE 365 Initiative

We are thrilled to share the incredible progress of our HOPE 365 Initiatives, thanks to the profound generosity of our community! We successfully hit our target by collecting 100 Toys, ensuring a brighter holiday for the 15 families we are assisting. Furthermore, your support led to an astounding 1044 online meals campaign and a food drive that fed over 1500 people in November. We also successfully gathered 308 socks, 3500 cans, and 1000 clothes so far. These achievements are a testament to the power of collective kindness and have already made a tangible difference in the lives of many of our neighbors.

With the end-of-year deadline rapidly approaching, we need your urgent assistance to close the gap on our remaining goals. While we celebrate our wins, we must continue gathering essential items like socks, canned goods, and clothing to maximize the support for our community. Please help us cross the finish line! Every final donation makes a critical difference right now and ensure the HOPE 365 Initiative is a complete success. Visit HERE today to donate to our online meal campaign with Harvest Hope. All other donations can be delivered to Mrs. Cherry, our Students Activities Director.

H.O.P.E 365 – A Miracle on Cavalier Street

Our Holiday program known as H.O.P.E. 365, is underway! H.O.P.E. 365 is a student-led community service project at Richland Northeast High School.  The goal of our project each year is to help those in need in our community.

This fall we are collecting non-perishable food items to donate to local food banks; socks, toiletries, & feminine hygiene items to donate to various homeless shelters; and toys & bikes to help Stuff-A-Bus.  We are also adopting families and senior citizens through Families Helping Families and sponsoring a blood drive. Thanks to you, 11 of our 20 families have been adopted. Please help us reach our goal. Click HERE to adopt a family, senior citizen, or disabled adult.

โœ๏ธ Important EOC Testing Alert for English 2 Students & Parents

English 2 students are currently taking the first required section of their End-of-Course (EOC) assessment: Writing. Please ensure all English 2 students report to their assigned testing room by 9:00 AM sharp, bringing their fully charged school-issued Chromebook and charger. Late arrivals will not be permitted entry once the assessment has begun. The second required section, Reading, is scheduled for Tuesday, December 9th. Remember, taking both the Writing and Reading sections is mandatory. Failure to complete both will result in a zero for the English 2 final exam, which accounts for 20% of the overall final grade and could significantly impact the student’s final average.
