Only 6 Weeks Left

We only have 6 weeks left before we are out for the summer. The time we have left is very important and we need everyone to remain focused on academics and attendance. Both are important for graduation and promotion.

Academic Reminders: Some students will take the SAT Makeup test on April 25th. AP & IB exams are in 3 weeks, followed by End-of-Course exams two weeks later. EOC teachers are holding an EOC Blitz in May to include after-school and virtual sessions. There will be incentives given to any student who receives a C or higher on their EOC exam. So don’t miss these sessions!!

Attendance Reminders: Attendance counts this year. All absences (unexcused, excused, etc) count against your attendance. SC Attendance Law states that students cannot miss more than 10 days in a year-long class and 5 days in a semester course. If you exceed this attendance requirement, you may receive an FA (Failure due to Attendance) in the course, which also means that you will NOT receive credit for the course. So check your attendance today. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Clark (wclark@richland2.org) or Dr. Myers (mmyers@richland2.org).
