Have You Registered?

Richland Northeast will hold its Fall Blood Drive on Thursday, October 27th from 8:oo AM – 2:30 PM. We need your assistance to make it a success. Are you 17 years old and older? All you need to do is complete the online registration form. Click HERE or the image to register online. Students who are 16 years old, can click HERE to register and schedule their appointment. They are also required to submit a Parental Consent form to S102 or the Main Office on the day of the blood drive.


Final Picture Make-Up Day

Please mark your calendars for the FINAL picture make-up day: Tuesday, October 25 from 9 am-3 pm in the Gym Mezzanine. 

This is your chance to get your photo in the yearbook. Seniors: this is your FINAL CHANCE to get your senior portraits! Any new students or underclassmen who were absent on their original picture day should also take their photos for PowerSchool. Passes will be given to students who were noted as being absent on their original day.

It’s Testing Day!!

Remember we do not have LATE START today. Students MUST report to their assigned locations by 9:00 AM. Once testing has begun, any student who is late to school and are taking the PSAT, SAT, ASVAB, or Accuplacer test will report to the Refocus Room until testing is over. Students remember to bring a photo ID (school ID preferred), two #2 pencils, and a calculator. Students will be allowed to leave campus once testing begins unless they have early dismissal. The schedule for today is based on testing being complete by 1:00 PM.

TOMORROW, Wednesday, October 12th, all 9th, and 10th-grade students will take the PSAT/NMSQT. Registered Seniors will take the SAT. Juniors will take the ASVAB or Accuplacer test. All other Juniors or Seniors will participate in College & Career Readiness prep sessions unless they signed up to participate in job shadowing. Congratulations, RNE-TV Live

RNE-TV LIve has been named a National Scholastic Press Association Pacemaker finalist. The Pacemaker is the most prestigious award in scholastic journalism and is unofficially compared to the high school equivalent of the Pulitzer prize. This is the fourth time students have received this nomination. They will learn the results at the National High School Journalism Convention in St. Louis next month. Please congratulate any CavPlex students you teach.

Rise & Shine – NO LATE START Wednesday

That’s correct. School will start at 8:30 AM due to it being a school-wide testing day. On Wednesday, October 12th, all 9th, and 10th-grade students will take the PSAT/NMSQT. Registered Seniors will take the SAT. Juniors can register to take the ASVAB or Accuplacer test. Any junior or senior who met CCR status can sign-up for Job Shadowing. Any Junior or Senior who has not registered to take one of these tests will participate in CCR sessions sponsored by School Counseling.
