Don’t Forget To Check Grades & Attendance

We only have 3 months left before this school year end. Please begin checking your child’s grades and attendance in Parent Portal every week. REMINDER:

  • All students must pass English and Math in addition to other credits to be promoted to the next grade level.
  • Seat Time Recovery is required for every absence after 5 in a one-credit (A-B) course and after the 3rd absences in a 1/2-credit (A or B) course.

We offer tutoring and Seat Time Recovery Monday-Thursday after school. Seat Time is also offered the 2nd and 4th Saturdays. If you have any issues or concerns, please contact your child’s counselor or Magnet or AVID Director. They can set up a parent conference with all your child’s teachers and administrators. NHS Presents…Adopt-A-Highway

Mrs. Crigger and our school’s National Honor Society Organization will meet this Saturday, February 8th from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM to help keep our school campus and Brookfield Road clean. All students are encourage to attend. It is also a perfect opportunity to clear Detention hours and earn community service hours for any school organization that you are a member of.

TODAY IS…Last Day to Clear 1st Semester Seat Time

Any student who has not cleared their Seat Time for 1st semester will be required to attend in person. All Edgenuity courses will be disabled at 11:59 PM tonight. Any students who have not completed their Seat Time will get an additional extension, but will be required to attend in person until all Seat Time in recovered. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact a member of the Attendance Team at rnh+attendance@richland2.org.

The Military Child Education Coalition (MCEC) is offering a FREE webinar on TODAY at NOON on the differences between the ACT and SAT. Both are standardized tests commonly used for college admissions, but each has its own format and emphasis. Some colleges and programs may prefer one test over another, but both are widely accepted.
