The South Carolina Association of Title I Administrators (SCATA) and the National Association of Federal Education Program Administrators (NAFEPA) are offering scholarships to Title I high seniors. The purpose of the scholarship program is to financially support post-secondary education for qualifying high school seniors attending their first year of college.
SCATA is offering the following non-renewable scholarships: 1st Place ($2000), 2nd Place ($1500), and 3rd Place ($1000). NAFEPA is distributing four $2,500 non-renewable scholarships. Two scholarships are for students pursuing degrees in education. The other two scholarships will be awarded to applicants pursuing degrees in any field of study. DEADLINE: January 16, 2025

There is no pass or fail when taking the ASVAB, you have to have a 31 or higher to become CCR or join a Military branch. To register, clcik the image above. Under a newย South Carolina policy, schools must limit students’ accessย toย cell phones and other personal devices during the school day. The Richland Two Board of Trusteesย revisedย Policy JICJ – Possession/Use of Electronic Communication Devices at School,ย toย reflect the new law. All high schools in Richland Two. Prohibited Devices include but are not limited to gaming sevices, cell phones, tablets, smartwatches, and earbuds/headphones. REMINDER: Free to Focus Now In Effect
On January 1st, the Free to Focus SC policy is mandated by the SC Department of Education. It seeks to create a phone-free environment during school hours, to help students engage, focus, and grow their college and career-ready skills. Students must store their devices and device accessories. Cell phones must be powered off and away. Devices include, but are not limited to, cell phones, smart watches, tablets, and gaming devices.
We will hold Class Meetings on January 7th to discuss RNE’s Free to Focus Procedures and Consequences.
