Athletic Games Updates

There are new protocols in place for those attending Richland Two high school games. Please review all updates as we want everyone to have a wonderful game experience.

  • Entry into Games
    • Middle School students without an adult will not gain entry.
    • Any student under the age of 18 MUST be accompanied by a parent / guardian or responsible adult.
    • Face coverings that completely cover a personโ€™s face are not allowed.
    • Students attending Blythewood Academy will not gain entry.
  • During Games
    • No one will be allowed to stand, congregate, or โ€œhang outโ€ on the concourse or around the concession stand areas during the game.
    • No one will be admitted to the game after halftime. Entry gates will close at the end of halftime.
    • Concession stands will close at the end of the third quarter.
    • Spectators must stay at their seats except when they are going to the restrooms or to concession stands.ย 

Magnet Parent Advisory

RNE appreciates all parents who agreed to serve on the Magnet Parent Advisory Committee. This year meetings will in-person and virtual and occur on Thursdays. Meeting notes will be shared with all Magnet parents and Magnet teachers are encourage to attend. Details about each meeting can be found in the Triple Scoop. Dress Code Updates for 2024-2025

Yes, there is an update to the student dress code that will begin at the start of the 2024-25 school year. The dress code changes are…

  • Pants, jeans, and skirts must be long enough to cover the lining of pockets.
  • Shirts must cover studentsโ€™ midriff. 
  • Bonnets are now included on the list of head coverings such as hats that students cannot wear inside schools.
  • Hoods cannot be worn on the head inside the building 

These updates apply to all students and are in addition to the existing Richland Two Board of Trustees policy which encourages students and families to select attire that positively reflects the studentโ€™s aspirations; that contributes to a school environment focused on students being academically, socially and physically future ready; and one that positively represents the student, school and district. The student handbook has more information about the dress code.
