QB Wilson Heading to Shrine Bowl
The Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas recognizes the very best in high school football players in the Carolinas. Every year The Shriners host a highly visible football game between North Carolina and South Carolina players. Please help us congratulate Will Wilson as he was selected for this wonderful opportunity.

Bluebook Updated Needed for Testing
A critical Bluebook™ update was released recently. This program is needed to take any College Board exam – PSAT, SAT, and AP. So students while you are in school, please do the following
- Log off your Chromebook.
- Click the Apps logo in the bottom left corner of your Chromebook.
- Select Bluebook and run Test Tech.
Also, remember to check for new releases every Friday on Bluebook Updates.

Need Your CCR?
PSAT, SAT, & ASVAB Testing
Click this flyer to determine your testing or College & Career Ready location. The PSAT/NMSQT and SAT are digital tests so students must bring their school issued Chromebook to take the test. They will need their school ID to enter the room. Calculators are optional and are not needed for testing. If students want to use a calculator, they must bring one to their testing room.
Silver Cadets Take Home the Trophy
Congratulations to our Silver Cadet Band for placing 3rd in the State in 3A/4A Band Competition this past weekend.

Blood Drive, A Great Success
We would like to thank you all for another successful blood drive! We collected 39 units of blood, met our goal, and had a great time. Mrs. Fluellen, her team of students, and the nurses did a great job, even with the staff shortage.

Fall Magnet Events
Our Magnet students will attend several field studies from now until December. Students will not be permitted to travel off campus without their signed Parent Permission form. So please remind your child to share any off campus field study permission forms with you for your signature. Also, if you are a new Magnet student and parent, your signed Magnet Contract Signature Sheet, and the District Academic, Attendance, and Discipline Code of Conduct Signature Sheet must be returned before your child will be allowed to participate in any field studies. All Magnet students can participate in the following events unless otherwise stated.
- Tuesday October 22, 2024, 6:00-8:30 PM: Beltline Bowling Presents: A Family Affair
- Wednesday Oct. 23, 2024: McNair Engineering Center, USC Columbia (Horizon Seniors)
