SCATA/NAFEPA Scholarship DUE Next Month

The South Carolina Association of Title I Administrators (SCATA) and the National Association of Federal Education Program Administrators (NAFEPA) are offering scholarships to Title I high seniors. The purpose of the scholarship program is to financially support post-secondary education for qualifying high school seniors attending their first year of college.
SCATA is offering the following non-renewable scholarships: 1st Place ($2000), 2nd Place ($1500), and 3rd Place ($1000). NAFEPA is distributing four $2,500 non-renewable scholarships. Two scholarships are for students pursuing degrees in education. The other two scholarships will be awarded to applicants pursuing degrees in any field of study. DEADLINE: January 16, 2025

Yes, we are extending the deadline for our 3rd year and 4th year students to register for one of these tests until 11:59 PM on Friday, December 20th. Just a reminder
Only 4th year students who did not take the school day ACT or SAT in the Fall can register.
If you have an IEP or 504 plan, you can apply for accommodations. Please send your completed and signed College Board Consent or the ACT Consent forms to Dr. Myers (mmyers@richland2.org) by 11:59 PM on Friday, December 20th.
There will be NO extensions or exceptions given after this deadline. If students want to take either assessment, the form MUST submitted by the form by the December 20th deadline.

When you have more than 5 absences in a semester A-B classORmore than 3 in an A or B semester class.This week we are adding additional Seat Time Recovery hours on the half days. REMINDER: all excessive absences must be recovered by December 20th if you do not want an FA recorded on your report card. Seat Time Recovery this week is shown below. Please report to the cafeteria on time and with your chromebook.
Although our football season has concluded, our student athletes are being recognized for not only their ability on the field, but in the classroom and community. Don’t forget to sign up for Seat Time Recovery as well. This will be our last Saturday this semester to clear Detention Hours & recover excessive absences.
That is correct. All 1A and 2A course exams begin today. If missed your Algebra 1, Biology 1, English 2, and/or U.S. History EOC, you must report to the Multipurpose Room at 9:00 AM. Remember all exams count 20% of your final average. So please do your best. If you are making up an EOC please bring your fully charged, school-issued Chromebook and charger the Multipurpose Room. Good luck on your exams.
