Students who missed any portion of their English 2 EOC (Reading and/or Writing) or Algebra 1 EOC, will need to report to the Multipurpose Room TODAY by 9:00 AM. Remember this exam counts 20% of your final average. Missing this exam could dropped students’ final grade by 20%. Students making up EOCs will need to bring their fully charged, school-issued Chromebook and charger. A ParentSquare email was sent to students and parents who need to make up their exam today. Biology 1 EOC TODAY
Please report to your testing location in S Building by 9 AM today. Remember EOCs count 20% of your final average so missing it could significantly drop your final average by 20 points or more. Don’t forget to bring your fully charged, school-issued Chromebook and charger. If you missed one of your EOCs, you will also have an opportunity to make it up today as well. We are holding makeups or English 2 and Algebra 1 in Room S108 and U.S. History in Room S205.
Our Winter Countdown
Don’t forget to wear your Flannel today. Also, let’s remember our HOPE 365 goals. Bring in your canned goods, gently used clothing, blankets, and/or socks. We will celebrate our accomplishments at our Winter Wishes Assembly on December 20th. It is our day to impress!!!

Yes this is correct. For the 2024-2025 school year, any Richland Two student in their 3rd year of high school is eligible to take either the ACT or SAT during the school day for FREE. Also, any senior who did not take either the school-day ACT or SAT during the Fall can also register to take the ACT or SAT in the Spring.
The ACT will be administered in February; and the SAT will be in March. To register for one of these assessment, students or parents must sign up via ParentPortal by 11:59 PM on December 13, 2024. There will be NO extensions or exceptions. If students want to take either assessment, either the student or the parent MUST complete the form by the December 13th deadline.

Deadline to Complete Seat Time, Dec 19th
If you have more than 5 absences in a semester A-B class or more than 3 in an A or B semester class, you must recover all absences over these requirements by 5:30 PM on December 19th. After this date, any students who have not recovered all of their absences in one or more courses will receive an FA on their report card. Please understand that absences are absences according to the SC State Attendance Laws. All absences noted as excused, unexcused, medical, out-of-school suspension, or recommendation for expulsion are required to be recovered if they exceed the attendance requirements.
Parents/Guardians, please check your email. If your child is over the required number of absences required by State, you and your received an email from Mrs. Clarke, our Attendance Secretary. Please considered bringing them to school TODAY by 8:00 AM to complete Seat Time Recovery.
Missed English 2 EOC?
Your makeup will be on Monday, December 9th in the Multipurpose Room (MPR). The MPR is located on the 1st floor of E Building next to E111B. Please arrive by 9 AM with your fully-charged, school-issued Chromebook. It is also highly recommended that you also bring your Chromebook charger.
Remember all electronic communications (cellphones, smart watches, headphones, tablets, etc) are prohibited in the testing room. You will be required to remove and turn off all ECDs as soon as you enter the room.
