    SC Works WIOA Program will be visiting Richland Northeast on Wednesday, April 24th during CLT time. The WIOA Program is designed to assist individuals with career guidance and planning. This program will also pay for individual tuition for CDL, Welding, HVAC, CNA, Information Technology, and more. If you are interested, please visit Mr. Spruill or Mrs. Harris in the Career Center located in Room A-108 TODAY, April 23.

    RSD2 Showcases RNE Student

    Alyssa Amaker, a RNE senior, was awarded the prestigious Dovey Johnson Roundtree scholarship to Spelman College amd is featured on Richland Two’s Changing the Narrative. Listen as she talks about finding yourself in others, stories that matter, her mentor, and continuing to speak the truth through journalism.

    Track/Field Athletes Return With Hardware

    Our girls team traveled to the Glover Smiley Invitational and came home with some hardware! Pictured is our 4×200 team (Destiny P., Janiyah C., Saniya F. & Jordyn W) who qualified for Adidas Outdoor and Nike Outdoor Nationals. They also placed 3rd in the Mile Medley, 6th in the 4×100, 4×400, and Swedish Relay.

    Enjoying the Special Olympics

    Ms. Galvan’s class participated in several events at the Spring Special Olympics at Blythewood High School.

    Attention 10th, 11th, & 12th Graders…

    The ASVAB will be held on April 18th.  If you are interested in joining the military, need assistance with career guidance, or want to get your CCR (College and Career Readiness) certification, this is the test for you. Did you also know that the ASVAB resembles the ACT and SAT? Four sections are comparable to both the SAT and ACT that cover language and math skills and one section is comparable to the ACT that covers science. If interested, click the image to complete the registration form.
