    Welcome Coach Mathis

    Coach Ben Mathis is named the new Head 9th grade football coach at RNE.  Please welcome the offensive wizard from Summit Parkway Middle School.  Under his leadership, Summit finished second in the district. We are looking foward to a wonderful season next year.

    RNE Now Has Golf

    Dr. Stephone Berry is a graduate from Richland Northeast High School and a retired senior non-commissioned officer. Currently, he is a professor at Columbia International University, where he received his Doctorate degree in Ministerial Leadership. He enjoys mentoring and teaching the sport of golf.  He is passionate and excited about the opportunity to coach at his alma mater. Welcome Dr. Berry!!

    Academic Reminders

    Richland Two Choice 2 Opens Today

    Richland Two offers a second round of application and selection for Expanded Choice, the Virtual School, and Magnet Programs. The Choice 2 application will open online at 8 AM TODAY, and close at 5 PM on May 3.

    Due to the popularity of the Choice programs, not all schools and programs are accepting applications for Choice 2. Furthermore, some programs only have openings for certain grade levels. If you apply to a grade level without openings, you are  applying to  be added to the wait pool. Click here for a list of schools closed to Choice.

    PCA Senior Accepted into Juilliard

    Class of 2024, Ka’ron Jackson, PCA Dance student,was accepted into The Juilliard School for the 2024 – 2025 school year. The Juilliard School is a world leader in performing arts education with an acceptance rate into their Bachelors of Arts program of 7-8%. Applicants who meet prescreening requirements are invited to the callback auditions, which consists of 5 parts. Ka’ron’s prescreening application consisted of 12 different video selections abd was invited to participate in the callback session held in at The Juilliard School. Ka’Ron’s was one of the selected few who got to participate in all 6 parts of the audition and was accepted into The Juilliard School for the 2024-2025 school year.

    Please congratulate him on this amazing accomplishment. And don’t miss his last performance in the PCA Dance show, The Legend of Hercules April 18th-21st.
