Have You Recovered Your Seat Time?

The semester is almost over and SC Attendance Laws have changed. Students can no longer recover seat time at the end of the school year (i.e. during the summer). All seat time for Semester 1 classes must be completed by within 30 days of the semester ending. Students who have over 5 absences in any course and who have not recovered the seat time in the course(s), will receive an Failure Due to Attendance code (FA) on their report card. If the seat time is not recovered by the deadline, the FA will remain on students’ the report card and transcript and students will be required to re-enroll in the course to receive the credit.

So the time is now. Please sign up to complete Seat Time Recovery today. You can register by clicking one of the flyers.

    Got Chromebook Issues?

Currently, we have no school Chromebooks (CB) in stock. But our Technology Learning Coach, Mr. Berley, is working with the district to find missing CBs & mediate the numbers so that we can receive a new shipment. Students, are you aware that charging your cell phones using your CB exhausts the CB battery causing it not to take charge at all? Solution: Plug in the CB charger and hold the Power and Refresh buttons at the same time.  The charging indicator light (left of the keyboard) should come on if the CB is operational.  Also, did you know that when your CB is 100% dead, it could take up to 48 hours to fully charge? Got other issues? Click the image above to troubleshoot and find solutions to common Chromebook issues.
