    RNE National Honor Society went out to help with the MLK Neighborhood Project. Along with over 100 volunteers, they helped improve residents’ properties, including adding weather stripping around windows and building stair railings in peopleโ€™s yards.

    Need Seat Time?

    Did you pass the course, but see an FA on your report card. Then you will need to attend Seat Time Recovery. The deadline to clear any FA received during 1st Semester is Thursday, February 22, 2024. Any FAs not cleared by this deadline will remain an FA on the transcript and no credit for the course will be received. If you have any questions about how many hours you need to recover, please contact your counselor or administrator.

    $10,000 Youth Challenge, Deadline in 2 Weeks

    That’s correct, create a fun environmental project for a chance to receive $10,000! The National Geographic Society is delighted to share the Slingshot Challenge. This is an opportunity to showcase students’ ideas to slingshot our planet forward. Calling all 13-18 year old students to create a one-minute video with a solution to a current environmental problem. From cleaning our air to reviving our oceans, students are encouraged to creatively tackle some of the biggest environmental challenges we face to create a better world for everyone.

    District Partnership with Care Solace

    Richland Two recently announced and shared with the community a new partnership with Care Solace. Now all Richland Two students, their families, and staff can use Care Solace at no cost. Care Solace is a mental health coordination service that is available 24/7, 365 days, and in multiple languages.โ€‚Care Solace will provide information about which mental health providers are covered by your insurance, which providers may be the best fit for you and your family, AND can help you get an appointment scheduled.ย Please click the image above to learn about the two ways to access mental health coordination services.
